Biography

Someday I'll figure out what I want to be when I grow up...

Until then--I have been a virology/bacteriology tech, run a daycare, done modeling, edited textbooks and medical journals, been a spelunker, a riding instructor, and a lot of other odd things. I've lived on all four coasts of our country, as well as exploring most of Central America. Each time I learned something new about my world and myself.

And discovered it was never enough. I wanted other worlds, other adventures. Which is why I write fantasy. To live dreams others might only imagine.

When I am not happily exploring those distant shores and enjoying the company of my daring fae heroes--I lead a very ordinary life with my very patient husband, a house full of kids (currently six) both adopted and homemade, two dogs, the omnipresent cat clan, and an assortment of other critters both large and small that are an essential part of having a large family.
